A University of Nebraska–Lincoln team’s proposed renovation of a little-used TV lounge in the Robert E. Knoll Residential Center features multiple study spaces designed to allow for collaboration between students won the 2019 Big Ten Academic Alliance Student Design Challenge. Following pandemic delays, the furniture has been delivered. The annual contest, supported by the Herman Miller furniture company, allows students to develop and pitch a renovation of an existing campus space. November 17, 2023.
