Maizie Schaffart (center), a junior studying psychology and German, helped plant the Indigenous Garden on City Campus alongside fellow students, faculty and staff. Schaffart enrolled in an Ethnic Studies course this semester and heard about the planting from her professor. It was a good opportunity to learn about gardening and get involved on campus, she said.
