Arman Roohi, Assistant Professor in the School of Computing, is a CAREER awardee. His project is focused on developing algorithms/software to enable battery-less edge intelligence. The self-powered Internet of Things: smarter devices, greener planet. The graph behind him shows IoT nodes can operate autonomously and sustainably to realize instant computing and efficient learning, although power failures can occur because of ambient energy sources.
