Air Force Senior Master Sargent Mike Miller is a CEHS enrollment advisor during his last months of active duty before retiring from the military this January. He is the sixth from right in this photo of the two helicopters crews that effected the Rescue of Junker 14. An F-14 was shot down during the opening hours of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and I was on the lead helicopter that picked up the pilot and his REO. He was awarded the air medal for the rescue.
