200917 Art Run 124

Since 1945 students re-perform Yvonne Rainer’s 1963 dance work “We Shall Run” in the courtyard between Richards Hall and Woods Art Building, while observing social distancing rules. The work consists of sixteen people in street clothes who stand still for five minutes, and then break into a run together for another seven minutes as the "Tuba Mirum" from Hector Berlioz’s Requiem plays loudly. Katie Anania's Art and Design class. September 17, 2020. Photo by Craig Chandler / University Communication.
